Catechism

There are few more important things that parents can do than bring up their children in the fear and knowledge of God.  One important tool that parents have is catechism.   Catechism literally means “to sound down.”  A good translation of the term would be to indoctrinate.  In other words – to teach doctrine.

Every week, I will publish a question or two based on the Catechism for Boys and Girls.  I plan to include verses, some further discussion questions, a short commentary, and a related theological concept.

This page will serve as a central table of contents for the entire series.

Question # 1:  Who made you?  Answer:  God made me.

Question #2:  What else did God make?  Answer:  God made all things.

Question #3:  Why did God make you and all things?  Answer:  For his own glory.
