OK, so since July, I’ve been away from home more than I’ve been home (including vacations), but I’ve been without perhaps my most treasured travel companion, my iPod.
About six weeks ago, my old iPod had a catastrophic hard drive failure. I bought the extended warranty on it, though. But it’s taken over a month to get the approval for them to replace it.
I suppose it was somewhat fortuitous since the day after I got the approval, the new iPods were announced. I qualify to get a 160GB iPod classic as a replacement, but it hasn’t yet arrived at the Best Buy.
Anyone got one of the new models yet?
