Christian Voting Guides

Just got my trusty voting guide from the California Family Association, which is aligned with Focus on the Family (according to the title on the pamphlet). I’m not really sure why they went to the trouble to print this since there doesn’t seem to be any discernible difference from the Republican Party voting guide that I received last week.

I was particularly interested to learn that I should vote NO on Proposition 86, which would impose a $2.60 tax on a pack of cigarettes – because, apparently, nothing is more important to today’s Christian family than cheap cigarettes.

  1. They want you to be frugal, and paying $2.60 tax is WAY TOO MUCH.
